The story of this poster
German recruiting poster for the Division Hermann Göring, a Division made out of a mix of paratrooper and armored elements. It was under the Luftwaffe control and as the name suggests, the division was both founded and controlled by the head of the Luftwaffe, Hermann Göring.
The division fought in Italy and Courland (now western Estonia), before it finally surrendered close to the city of Dresden in 1945.
