The story of this poster
A very colourfull vintage poster from 1943, created by artist Vazk. The poster depicts a Newspaper boy screaming out the name of the dutch newspaper Trouw, the dutch word Trouw means "fidelity", "loyalty", or "allegiance", The news paper was founded in 1943 as an orthodox Protestant underground newspaper during WW2. The name was chosen to reflect allegiance and loyalty to God and Country in spite of the German occupation of The Netherlands.
