The story of this poster
This poster was created during WW2 for The Office of War Information with the purpose of increasing wartime production and mobilization at home. December 7th refers to the attacks at Pearl Harbour, an event which was still in very recent memory for all Americans when the poster was released. The quote is an excert from the Gettysburg Adress by Abraham Lincoln.
