The story of this poster
The year is 1947 and Western europe is ravaged by the war. In order to avoid a similar scenario as after WWI as well as prevent a communist expansion, the United States started a huge aid program. The program started in 1948 and lasted for four years. In total, 16 countries received aid and was able to restore large parts of their infrastructure.
