History of the poster
Propaganda poster from the Free french forces (FFL - Forces Françaises Libres), a force composed abroad by fleeing French soldiers. They were equipped with amercian equipment and were part of the landings on D-day. The FFL are probably best known for their part of the liberation of Paris a few months later.
