The story of this poster
A classic propaganda poster print that plays on intimidation to really point out the threat of enemy spies.
It's interesting that the profile of the German helmet already was so famous among that no additional text was needed thought the American propaganda machine, but there were many who misunderstood the message in the factories and took the helmet for The Liberty Bell.
The U.S. Office of War Information did perform a public survey to see what the people and factory workers thought about the poster and the outcome was that the poster did not give the clear message they wanted.
