Spanish propaganda

The Spanish Civil War lasted from 1936-1939, and stood between the elected government (the Republicans, which consisted of various leftist groups) and a rebel military group (Nationalists). The war was extremely bloody, and gave a foretaste of how the second world war would develop. Of course, propaganda came to be developed, alot due to the fact that to mainly the Republican side had plenty of followers who were artists. This led to an impressive number of very beautiful and graphically impressive posters to be painted.

All prints are carefully restored reproductions of originals and printed on the best possible poster paper on the market!
