The story of this poster
Swedish election poster printed by the party "Allmänna valmansförbundet" (cur Conservatives) to the second chamber elections in 1924. The major issue was defense, where the Social Democrats together with Communists and the Liberal Party wanted to cut down on funding. This poster showes the opposition's position on the issue, where both Mother Svea and Göta Lion (two traditional Swedish symbols) anxiously looks out over Sweden.
