British recruitment poster from World War I, published 1915. Depicts men from all social classes and professions joining together to form a column of soldiers who march off into the horizon.
The U.K introduced conscription on the second of March, 1916 and up until then the British army consisted entirely of volunteers. This poster was published in London by the Parliamentary Recruiting Committe and is number 104 out of 200 motives that was published.
